Location Information
To deliver event services, we may collect personal data such as precise location data (including position, speed and course) from your Rallysafe device as well as identifying data (first name, surname, nationality) and race results and infraction data.

Location collection starts only when the RallySafe unit is installed and powered up in your vehicle.

While monitoring is active, location continues at all times that the RallySafe device is powered up.

Collection stops when you remove the RallySafe device from your vehicle.
How We Use Your Information

Provide event services: real-time tracking, safety monitoring and incident response during events.

We do not use your location for advertising and we do not sell your data.

Race control officials / event organisers: to monitor participant safety and manage the event.

Location collection starts only when you join an event and tap “Start Tracking.”

While monitoring is active, location continues in the background (e.g., if you switch apps or lock the screen).

Collection stops when you tap “Stop Tracking” or close the app.

RallySafe Mobile App
By using the RallySafe mobile application you consent to allowing information about your device and app usage to be sent to third parties. This information is used to support the app for feedback, in-app purchases and app monitoring.
We do not use the information beyond these purposes. This information is shared to Apptentive, Crashlytics, Google Analytics and Google Play.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
