Considerable effort has been put into making sure the unit functions on as little power as possible. The RallySafe unit draws no more than your road car’s radio does on standby. The unit recognises when it is stationary, and quickly dims the screen and turns off non-vital transmissions to conserve power.

We have tested RallySafe units on small dry cell batteries for several days consecutively (while sending constant transmissions) and still not reduced the battery to under 12Vdc.

The most common point of handout is at event documentation. Alternatively, RallySafe personnel may fit the equipment at scrutineering.

The permanent fitting kit includes a bolt-on antenna, which provides a more robust long-term solution than the temporary fitting kit’s stick-on adhesive antenna. If you are planning to compete in several events involving RallySafe, the permanent fitting kit is preferable.

Shipping to any Australian address takes 1-2 working days. Shipping to international addresses takes 5-7 working days. It is important to allow time for shipping before your first event when ordering your fitting kit.

Most likely this means that your existing 3-in-1 antenna was damaged or was recognised as having a fault. Please contact RallySafe as soon as possible to organise a warranty claim or to purchase a new one. If possible, make a note of the serial number engraved on top of the original antenna and pass on this information to RallySafe staff.

Please return the RallySafe unit to rally headquarters, where a CRO or RallySafe representative should be available for unit hand-in.

The RallySafe Event Viewer and Mobile Apps only offer live tracking from the event start date, at which point tracking is available between the hours of 8:00 and 18:00 until the event has concluded.
